Where is Kothes Accounting Group based?

What is a chartered accountant?

Around the world there are over 2.5 million qualified accountants including chartered, certified, management, practicing, professional, and technicians among others. Each have completed various professional accountancy qualifications, and have different knowledge, skills and experience to suit their specific field. To qualify as a chartered accountant, you need to gain and maintain the highest professional accounting and finance qualifications to meet the standards of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ). Six of the directors at Kothes Accounting Group are Associates of CAANZ and Kothes Merimbula director Simon Byrne is a Fellow of CAANZ. Several Kothes staff are also qualified chartered accountants.

What tax do I pay on capital gains?

The amount of tax you pay on a capital gain depends on several factors, including the nature and the time you’ve held that asset. Generally the tax is paid at the individual’s marginal tax rate or the entity’s tax rate. Please talk to one of Kothes Accounting Group’s professionals to determine how capital gains may apply to your individual circumstances.

Kothes Accounting Group Bega is at 163 Auckland Street Bega, and you enter our client carpark off Upper Street.

Where is the Merimbula office?

The Merimbula office of Kothes Accounting Group is at 77 Main Street, next to St Joseph’s Catholic Church.

Where is the Cooma office and what days is it open?

Kothes Cooma office is open during business hours on Wednesdays by appointment and is at 57 Massie Street. You can phone 02 6491 6491 to make an appointment in Cooma.

Where is the Jindabyne office and how do I make an appointment?

When is the Kothes Bombala office open?

Does Kothes distribute a regular newsletter?

Yes. Kothes Advantage is the name of the newsletter for Kothes Accounting Group and it is distributed monthly and can also be downloaded via this website.
