Don’t forget to check your myGov account

February 23, 2017

Do you have a myGov account?

It is important to remember if you have set one up, that you need to check your myGov inbox for important messages.

These are messages you are probably used to getting via your accountant and/or a letter in the mail, but if you have a myGov account, we no longer receive these notifications.

They can be things like notifications of income tax payable and so it’s important you keep track – if there is anything that you are concerned about or need help with, you can simply forward them on and we can action if required.

A secure myGov account lets you link and access a range of Australian Government services all in one place:

  • Medicare
  • Australian Taxation Office
  • Centrelink
  • Child Support
  • Department of Veterans’ Affairs
  • National Disability Insurance Scheme

Messages can include online letters, statements and other types of important information.

Don’t forget to check!
