Gary Skelton

Kothes Accounting Group Bega office principal Gary Skelton is the only Self Managed Super Fund specialist on the NSW Sapphire Coast. When he is out socially and people ask him what he does and where he works, he says he feels a great sense of pride saying he works for the largest multi-partner chartered accounting firm in the region.

The professional advice Gary provides to clients is highly regulated, and he takes his role in financial planning, investment strategies and Self Managed Super Funds administration seriously. He says the importance of trust when you are helping people make the best possible financial decisions cannot be underestimated.

Financial advice does make a difference and people who receive professional financial advice are financially better off.

He enjoys being part of a large accounting practice where everyone can draw on the skills and expertise of others.

Work hard, have fun and maintain a positive attitude. Try and forget about work when you leave the office and enjoy your out of work time.

When Gary’s not at work you’ll find him on the golf course at Tura Beach Country Club, where he’s been a member since 1993, or swimming in the ocean. He also maintains a bush block with his family in his down time. And although they have been languishing near the bottom of the ladder for the past few years, he remains a passionate supporter of his AFL team Carlton.
