Kothes Advantage September 2018

September 25, 2018

Spring is here with the promise of some warmer weather which we hope will become the norm soon! Thankfully we have been fortunate to have some rain, which lifts spirits and helps ease the pressure on fire-fighters at the Yankees Gap fire and on farmers who are experiencing tough times during drought.

Speaking of fires, in September’s edition we meet with Bega Valley Shire Council Mayor Kristy McBain to hand over our $7000 donation to the Tathra and Reedy Swamp Mayoral Appeal. It was a good opportunity for us to catch up on what was happening with the appeal and Council’s future plans in dealing with bushfires and other disasters after what they’ve learnt this year with the Tathra and now the Yankees Gap fire.

In this edition we share some tips from one of our longest serving employees Jenni Nichols, who has extensive experience across all aspects of accounting and is valued for her broad knowledge.

In this edition we also have:-

  • Donations to drought-affected farmers
  • Fringe benefits surveys for employers
  • GST & food
